About Me

At a fairly young age (2 years old) I went with my mother to the ice rink for my sister who is also a figure skater.
Always loved this so much and always really wanted to participate, unfortunately I was still too young for that and I had to wait until I turned 4 years old.
In the summer season of 2013 I was finally allowed to take my first lesson at the Alkmaarsche ice club, I was so happy!
Soon I was allowed to transfer to the competition group where I trained 3 times a week. Less than a year later this became 4x a week including off-ice (dance – technique – condition and strength training).
I got my first freestyle when I was almost 6 years old in the Starters category, led by my coach Marcus Deen.
My first program was on the Disney song “Deep in the sea” from the movie The Little Mermaid, with a matching freestyle that was made especially for me.

Every 2 years I got a new program number with matching freestyle suit.
2nd program number was on an Italian number Tarantella, which is of course quite special for me because I am of Italian descent.
3rd program number was from Abba’s musical “Mamma Mia”
And now my 4th program on Tina Turner’s song “Proud Mary”

Now I train around 20 hours a week, which fortunately can be combined with school.

Since summer 2022 I have achieved the Knsb Topsport status.
This season 2022-2023 I skate in the Basic Novice category and I can also participate in International competitions for the first time.
